‘Mission Impossible 5’ has added two new cast members to the Christopher McQuarrie helmed film.

Golden Globe nominee Rebecca Ferguson (The White Queen) has been added as the female lead opposite Tom Cruise and Alec Baldwin is coming aboard as a high ranking CIA official who would oversee Cruises IMF Division. Jessica Chastain’s name had previously been high on the studio’s list for the female lead. Chastain reportedly passed on the role.

‘Mission Impossible 5’ is currently set to open on Christmas day 2015.
