I really dug the first season of  ‘The Fall’. I watched in nearly in a single sitting. It was a well made, compelling cat and mouse psychological thriller.

The story focuses on two hunters, a serial murderer in Belfast and the Detective Superintendent played by Gillian Anderson who is working the case. Jamie Dornan (soon to be lusted by every housewife in America for playing Christian Grey in 50 Shades of Grey) plays the elusive killer. As the season went on their game of cat and mouse became more and more intense.

The final episode of season one left us with Gillian Anderson coming frustratingly close to nabbing Dornan and vowing to continue her pursuit.

It feels as though we’ve been waiting eons for another season. Thank god the wait is almost over.
