/Film is reporting that a teaser trailer for Quentin Tarantino’s Hateful Eight will be attached to Sin City: A Dame to Kill For, opening August 22nd. The kicker is the trailer will only be shown in theaters, it will not be released online.

I really enjoyed the original Sin City, but I feel like the sequel’s ship may have sailed. Eight years ago I would have been psyched to see a follow up. But it’s been ten years at this point. As much as I enjoyed the Frank Miller graphic novels, this one was not one of the films coming out this summer that I was hotly anticipating. Perhaps this was based on the strength of this summer. This could be one of those summers we look back on in ten or fifteen years and discuss how many good films came out in such a short time.

Now, with a Tarantino trailer attached, it looks like they’ve found a way to get me to part with some hard earned money and see if Eva Green truly is a dame to kill for.

Speak of Green, take a look below at the newly released red band TV spot. This preview gives us the best sense of the plot central to the story,as opposed to the other trailers showcasing a lot of cool looking black and white movie stars mugging it up.
