Odd City Entertainment’s Great New Screen Printed Poster for ‘Sin City: A Dame to Kill For’

A Dame To Kill For small

I really love the posters that Odd City Entertainment have been releasing. I have their Trick r Treat poster getting ready to be cycled onto the wall for the Halloween season here at the office (Yes, I change them out throughout the year). They’ve also had some standout posters for Fargo, True Romance and Dazed and Confused that I’m going to need to track down because they are just such tremendous pieces. See for yourself:

Next up  for the folks at Odd City is a print by UK artist Paul Shipper for Frank Miller and Robert Rodriguez’s Sin City: A Dame to Kill For. The poster is an 18×24 screen print that will be made with 4 colors and one metallic ink on MOHAWK paper BY D&L Printing in a limited one-time edition of 200 pieces. The poster will be made available at the Austin premiere, with any remaining stock to be made available to the public on Friday 8/22 at the Odd City store.

I enjoyed the first Sin City adaptation quite a bit. It certainly captured the flavor of Frank Miller’s graphic novels. I’m hearing so-so things about the sequel, but I’m still excited to check it out. Miller and Rodriguez have once again assembled a tremendous cast for A Dame to Kill For. There’s also a teaser trailer for Quentin Tarantino’s Hateful Eight attached to it in theaters, so I’ll be there to take a look at what they have up their sleeves for this sequel.

What does everyone else think? Are you planning on checking out the film when it opens this coming weekend?
