‘Twin Peaks’ is Officially Coming Back!

Following up David Lynch and Mark Frost’s tweets from Friday. Lynch took to his Twitter to officially announce that Twin Peaks is returning to television screens in 2016, 25 years after the show originally ended.

Nine new episodes will be produced for Showtime that will continue the story with character’s and plots established in the first two seasons.

This is amazing news. I’m sure I’m not the only one out there that’s over the moon at this news.

Series creators and executive producers David Lynch and Mark Frost will write and produce all nine episodes of the limited series, and Lynch will direct every episode. Set in the present day, TWIN PEAKS will continue the lore of the original series, providing long-awaited answers and a satisfying conclusion for the series’ passionate fan base.”
