Take a look at this piece of concept art for Vision from Joss Whedon’s Avengers: Age of Ultron. It looks like a great adaptation of the character from the page to the Marvel Cinematic Universe. His look is a little more subdued than that of his typical bright yellow and green comic look.
Vision is an android, built entirely of synthetic material who is every bit a human being. Over the years there have been a few different versions of the character. The crystal on his forehead is used to absorb solar energy (He’s Green in more ways than one.) He has the ability to fire optic beams of infrared and microwave radiation. He can control his density, enabling him to fly and appear ghost-like. It can also make him extremely heavy, giving him superhuman strength, imovability and a diamond-hard near invulnerability.
I really dig the design and can’t wait to see how he plays in the upcoming Avengers film.
