AMC’s upcoming Breaking Bad spinoff Better Call Saul has added a pair of actors to play a pair of “square outlaws” according to the Tracking Board. Julie Ann Emery and Jeremy Shamos will be joining the cast as Betsy and Craig Kettleman.
Emery and Shamos join Michael McKean, Rhea Seehorn, Michael Mando and Patrick Fabian. Bob Odenkirk will reprise his role as the titular lawyer and Jonathan Banks is once again playing the role of the cranky but effective hitman and all around “cleaner” Mike Erhmantraut.
The show will take place six years before the events in the hit show Breaking Bad. Here we will see what led Saul Goodman to be Saul Goodman.
Emery is most recently known for her role of Ida Thurman in the FX series Fargo as well as roles in the films Hitch and Movie 43. Shamos is known for smaller roles in such recent independent films as Magic In The Moonlight and Birdman or The Unexpected Virtue of Ignorance.
