And the guest register just keeps getting fuller by the day.
The last time Chloe Sevigny was on the FX anthology American Horror Story, it was during the second season (subtitled Asylum) in a recurring role as a nymphomaniac patient at the Briarcliff mental hospital. Now Ryan Murphy has officially announced the Sevigny will join the fifth season in a regular cast role.
Murphy made the announcement via Twitter:
Very excited to announce that Chloe Sevigny returns to the AHS family as a series regular on “AHS: Hotel.”
The actress joins the already cast Lady Gaga, Matt Bomer, Cheyenne Jackson and Wes Bentley. Jessica Lange, a staple for the past four seasons, will not be returning for the fifth installment.
No word yet on who any of the members of the cast will play, but AHS is known for keeping things under wraps for as long as possible. With the quality shown over the past four years though, I’ve learned to put my faith in the show and just enjoy the ride as it comes.
