See Chris Pratt Ride With Raptors and More in the Newest ‘Jurassic World’ Posters!

by: S. Scott Stanikmas

So over the course of the last few days we’ve gotten a few new posters for the upcoming Jurassic World. When it comes to the Jurassic franchise I’m very on the fence. I liked the first one, couldn’t get into the second one and was just very uninterested in the third one.

This latest incarnation has me all kinds of piqued though. I don’t know if it’s Chris Pratt’s involvement or the fact that finally the dinosaurs are let loose on an island of unsuspecting tourists (as was feared in the first film), but I’m eagerly awaiting the June 12 release date.

The first poster shows Bryce Dallas Howard facing off with the genetically created Indominus Rex. What a mismatch here! It’s the classic “standoff between adversaries” poster, but one side definitely has more of an advantage!!

Next we have the solo shot of a Mosasaurus about to have a snack. As bad-ass as shark movies are, those bastards are about to get their comeuppance for eating beachgoers all these years (I’m lookin at you, Jaws!!).

Finally we have Pratt himself rolling with the raptors! The fact that Chris Pratt’s character has trained velociraptors like pets is freakin’ insane…and I want to see more of it!

So there we have it folks. The way the response has been for this film, it seems it might be a “you either love it or hate it” kind of film. I’m hoping it brings back the magic that was present in the first film, when it seemed Universal actually cared about this franchise instead of just cashing in on its name.
