When we last saw the Hulk, he was flying away on a Quinjet at the end of Avengers: Age Of Ultron to an undisclosed location to keep the jade giant away from anyone that he could hurt. But it sounds like Hulk may not stay hidden for long.
A tweet from actor Mark Ruffalo hints that we may get to see Bruce Banner and his alter ego in next year’s Captain America: Civil War:

While this isn’t set in stone yet, it is pretty fun to think that the Hulk could show up during the Civil War. Incredible Hulk actor William Hurt will be returning as General Thaddeus “Thunderbolt” Ross, so could we see Ross using the Hulk and his rampage in South Africa in Age Of Ultron as an example as to why superhumans need to be regulated? And could that lead to Banner / Hulk returning to clear his name?
And if he does pick a side, which side would he choose? If Iron Man and Captain America stick to the comics on which way they lean (IM is pro registration while CA is against) we could see a potentially funny situation. While Banner would side with his fellow Science Bro, Tony Stark, the Hulk may still remember the beating Iron Man and his Hulkbuster suit delivered and side with Steve Rogers when he goes all Jolly Green Giant on the MCU.
Ruffalo said he has another four (or so) films on his Marvel contract. With the two Avengers: Infinity Wars films and no solo flick on the horizon anytime soon, this means we get at least another two Hulk appearances in the future. Civil War could be one of them.
