Rebecca Ferguson has come out of nowhere to become Hollywood’s most wanted actress. After stealing the show in this summer’s Mission: Impossible – Rogue Nation and signing on for the Hitchcock-esque thriller The Girl On The Train, Ferguson has a couple more projects in the pipeline.

Deadline reports that the actress is in talks to join Michael Fassbender in The Snowman. Based on the book by Jo Nesbo, the film would follow Fassbender as Oslo detective Harry Hole as he investigates a series of abductions of married women that happen on the first day of snowfall.

While not in talks, it’s being reported that the Prometheus sequel Alien: Paradise Lost is putting Ferguson “in the mix” for a role. While no details were given, but it’s been said to be a “major role” in the film.

Ferguson was already being courted by FOX for their Gambit film, which has now ground to a halt.

The only bad thing here is the timing of both films. The Snowman is expected to start filming in January while Alien: Paradise Lost is slated for a February start. While not impossible it might be a little tight in the scheduling department.

No matter which way she goes, the acting world seems to be Rebecca Ferguson’s oyster at the moment.
