This morning a bunch of new character posters arrived for The Force Awakens, each highlighting a different cast member’s left eye.

I’m not a big fan of any of these, honestly. It’s an interesting motif, but still more of the same. I’m still waiting for that ICONIC Star Wars poster, though I’m having doubts we’re going to get it. It could be the only misstep this film has taken, but it’s a big one for me. I love the Star Wars one-sheets. You have to wonder if the reason for not getting a proper poster is the veil of secrecy this film is under…
