As one beloved movie franchise is starting its new life another is slowly winding down its saga – and the two will converge this holiday season.

Collider talked to producer Simon Kinberg and got the scoop that the trailer for X-Men: Apocalypse will debut before screenings of Star Wars: The Force Awakens.

“Our first trailer will be on Star Wars: The Force Awakens…It’s our first thing out there so it is somewhat of a teaser, but it’s certainly longer than a minute and it has a ton of cool stuff in it,” Kinberg told Collider.

Footage was debuted at San Diego Comic Con this past summer and quickly leaked online (like almost everything from SDCC this year). In it we did get to see snippets of the new class of mutants – Storm, Cyclops and Nightcrawler to name a few – joining the fight as well as big bad Apocalypse, so I wonder what we’ll see in this new trailer.

Rumored to also be attached to Star Wars will be the first trailer for Captain America: Civil War. While unconfirmed by studio execs, it’s all but certain we’ll see a Civil War trailer.
