Slip ups are bound to happen, no matter how much studios want to keep things under wraps. Case in point is the first look of Chris Pine as Steve Trevor in Warner Bros’ upcoming superhero flick Wonder Woman.
Originally actor Said Taghmaoui posted an image of himself and Chris Pine to his Twitter account. He quickly deleted it, but once something is online it’s online forever and Screenrant managed to save this image before the actor got rid of it:
With the garb these two are rocking it would seem to confirm that some part of Wonder Woman will take place during World War I as rumored.
There was another story floating around that said Wonder Woman would team up with Trevor in the modern day to prevent World War III but that would seem unlikely now. The most probable scenario would be that if Steve Trevor is even alive he’ll be the Peggy Carter to Wonder Woman’s Captain America.
No word yet on who Taghmaoui will be playing, but he’s teased that he’s playing a superhero. Who that could be is anyone’s guess. The fact that he has his own chair along with stars Gal Gadot and Chris Pine probably means that he has a significant role.
Wonder Woman is set to hit theaters June 23, 2017.
