As if having Alexandra Daddario in the Paramount’s upcoming Baywatch film wasn’t enough, now the film has added an actual swimsuit model.

Dwayne “The Rock” Johnson, who will also star in the film alongside Zac Efron, dropped the news on Instagram today that Sports Illsutrated swimsuit model Kelly Rohrbach will don the red swimsuit when she hits the beach.

For our #BAYWATCH and the iconic role of “CJ Parker” I had to make sure @kellyrohrbach was ridiculously sexy running in SLO-MO….

But that’s not all. Apparently Rohrbach will be playing CJ Parker – a role made famous on the original show by Pamela Anderson!!

The film centers on a group of elite lifeguards, led by Johnson, who need to team up with a hot-headed rookie (Efron) to save their beach.

Seth Gordon is directing from a script most recently touched up by Damian Shannon and Mark Swift. The idea is to make it similar in style to the recent 21 Jump Street series – tongue in cheek but not too campy that it borders on satire.

Shooting is expected to start sometime soon. No release date has been announced at this time.
