In my everyday life I work at a bank. As such, every year we all get together for a company-wide Holiday Event (which I avoid like the plague) where everyone drinks too much and has as much fun in front of the big bosses as they can. But if we had a party like Dreamworks is planning on throwing I might think twice before RSVPing “no.”
The Hollywood Reporter has the news that Blades of Glory directors Will Speck and Josh Gordon will helm Office Christmas Party, which will arrive just in time for the holiday season.
The Office scribes Lee Eisenberg & Gene Stupnitsky and Hot in Cleveland writer Laura Solon will handle storytelling duties about an annual office soiree that goes awry.
Jason Bateman and Jennifer Aniston (who have worked together in The Switch and the Horrible Bosses films) will headline this reportedly raunchy comedy. Deadpool’s T.J. Miller and SNL’s Kate McKinnon have nabbed co-starring roles.
Nothing was divulged about the plot at this point in time but apparently this film has been in the works for some time now. Paramount seems to have finally found a story that please them so they’ve set up shooting for this spring.
Office Christmas Party is currently penciled in for December 9, 2016 (hoping to cash in on everyone’s good holiday spirits).
This actually looks good.
