We’ve all seen the trailers for Batman V Superman: Dawn of Justice where Wonder Woman comes out of nowhere to shield Batman from Doomsday’s atomic gaze. And we’ve also seen where Bruce Wayne flirts with Diana Prince at some kind of gala event where she proclaims he’s never met someone like her before.

But what exactly is the premier daughter of Themyscira doing in man’s world? We may have just found out thanks to some new BVS merchandise.

Comic Book Movie found a post from Instagrammer wonderwomanbr who managed to snap a picture of a Wonder Woman bust with a description of the character from Dawn of Justice:

The world’s first and foremost female Super Hero, Wonder Woman at once embodies the unrivaled force and supreme grace of a born warrior, and the genuine compassion and understanding of a true humanitarian. As a symbol of equality, power, and truth, her natural confidence and unmistakable intelligence make her an unequalled, if unexpected, ally.

The immortal Amazonian Princess Diana keeps her eyes and ears open for intrigue as the beautiful and mysterious antiquities dealer, Diana Prince.

So this jibes with previous stories that say she’s an antiques dealer in search of a mystical weapon (A sword or shield? Perhaps a pair of bracelets?). This would afford her the opportunity to be on the hunt for these items without drawing attention to herself. It also explains why she leaves the comfort of Paradise Island.

Could we see how she loses these items she is now on the hunt for in her solo feature film? We’ll find out more when we get some concrete info about that film down the line. For now we can marvel at Gal Gadot as the Amazon Princess in Batman V Superman: Dawn of Justice, out later this month.
