Say what you will about Mel Gibson the human being, there is a lot. He is FAR from a perfect human but I’m glad to see him back out there on the big screen doing what he does best. In Blood Father Gibson plays an ex-con who reunites with his estranged wayward 16-year old daughter to protect her from drug dealers who are trying to kill her.

The film directed by Jean-François Richet also stars  Erin Moriarty, Elisabeth Röhm and William H. Macy.
