  • Kino Lorber has acquired the rights to the Sundance vampire favorite “A Girl Walks Home Alone at Night.”
  • Sigourney Weaver will return to the the Avatar threequels as a different character.”
  • Eric Singer Warren (American Hustle) in talks to adapt espionage novel Red Sparrow possibly as a project for David Fincher and Rooney Mara,
  • Dave Franco to co-star with his brother in The Disaster Artist about the making of Tommy Wiseau’s The Room. Franco will also direct the film based on the novel.
  • Universal Pictures has acquired worldwide rights to the Coen Brother’s next film starring George Clooney, “Hail, Caeser”.
  • New Tony winner Bryan Cranston may be bringing his play All the Way to the small screen. Reportedly Steven Spielberg is interested in  turning the story of LBJ’s difficult push for civil rights into a miniseries.
  • Rosa Salazar (Parenthood) joins Divergent sequel Insurgent as Lynn.
