A hero is only as good as their villains…and in the case of the upcoming Baywatch film you need to have a hot villain to match up to the equally good-looking heroes.

With a crew of lifeguards that include Dwayne “The Rock” Johnson, Zac Efron, Alexandra Daddario and Kelly Rohrbach donning the red trunks and swimsuits you need a bad guy (or girl) that can match those looks. Enter Priyanka Chopra.

A mega-star in her native India, Chopra is just starting to get noticed by American audiences thanks to her turn on the hit ABC show Quantico. Now she’ll get her chance to prove her mettle to a whole new movie-going audience when she goes head-to-head with the lifeguards.

Her involvement has been rumored since January but was just made official on an Instagram video by The Rock himself. The Great One even had a couple extra tidbits to share in the text that went with said video:

Cue RATED R slo-mo running on the beach.

So much like the Jump Street films that paved the way for this remake / reboot, Baywatch will be rated R. This means we should get lots of slo-mo running and lots of inappropriate jokes about it.

Shooting for Baywatch starts next week with a tentative release of May 19,2017.
