The upcoming Marvel / Netflix series A.K.A. Jessica Jones has added three new cast members.
Eka Darville (The Originals), Erin Moriarty (The Kings Of Summer) and Wil Traval (All Saints) have been added to bulk up the current cast that already includes Krysten Ritter as the titular Jones, Mike Colter as superhero Luke Cage, Carrie-Anne Moss as a possible ally to Jones, Rachael Taylor as Jones’ best friend Trish Walker and David Tennant as the villain Killgrave.
Darville will play Malcolm, a neighbor of Jessica’s whose life will intertwine with her’s in an interesting way. Moriarty will portray Hope, a young girl who becomes a client of Alias Investigations, the private detective firm run by Jessica Jones after her superhero career runs its course. Traval will play a hard-nosed, by-the-book NYPD officer.
A.K.A. Jessica Jones, set to premiere later this year, is one of four Marvel productions that will air on the streaming network in the future. The first of these series, Daredevil starring Charlie Cox, is set to debut on April 10, 2015.
