Steven Soderbergh’s ‘The Knick’ is set to premiere Friday August 8th but that hasn’t stopped Cinemax from deciding on the future of the show.

Prognosis: Positive.

Cinemax has announced that they are renewing the period hospital show for a second season of 10 episodes.

And the other big announcement was that Soderbergh is directing all ten episodes.
