Jesse Plemons has been killing it lately. With roles on cerebral TV shows like Breaking Bad and Fargo and films like Black Mass and Bridge Of Spies, the actor has been growing quite an impressive resume. (If you haven’t seen Friday Night Lights stop reading and get on that.)
His resume is about to grow by one as Plemons is re-teaming with Black Mass director Scott Cooper in the filmmaker’s next big project Hostiles, according to Variety.
Plemons will join the already cast Christian Bale and Rosamund Pike.
The story follows an Army captain in 1892 (Bale) who is tasked with bringing a dying Cheyenne war chief and his family back to their tribe’s homelands. Along the way they encounter a young woman (Pike) whose family was slaughtered while trying to make the journey from New Mexico to Montana. Now the group must battle the harsh elements and bands of hostile Comanche tribes on their journey.
Plemons will play a member of Bale’s Army unit that is helping the group make their final destination.
Filming begins this July and so far no concrete release date has been hinted at.
