Avengers: Age Of Ultron is quickly coming up, and the Marvel movie news is coming hot and heavy today. Right now, we’ve got some word on the Spider-man reboot.
Recently Latino Review reported on what is rumored to be the title of the next reboot film of the webslinger. It’s not confirmed yet, but it’s being said the reboot flick will be called Spider-Man: The New Avenger.
I don’t know what to make of it. I dig it because it ties into the Marvel Cinematic Universe, specifically making me think of Captain America: The First Avenger. I don’t like it because they have so many other titles to pick from that come from the comic book Spideyverse.
Like Christopher Nolan’s Batman films weren’t all titled with Batman: Blah Blah Blah, they could have gone so many ways. Spectacular Spider-Man, Web Of Spider-Man, Friendly Nieghborhood Spider-Man and so on.
As long as the story is good though, I guess I don’t really care what they call it. Just don’t make him a dancing emo hipster d-bag and I’ll give it a shot.
