Netflix’s ‘Jessica Jones’ to Showcase ‘Daredevil’ Character

Jessica Jones and Daredevil are going to share more than just a common streaming network. The two Netflix based shows will also have a shared character, linking them in the grand style of the Marvel Cinematic Universe.

Latino Review recently talked to Jessica Jones show developer Melissa Rosenberg and she dropped the news of the crossover character:

I think I’m allowed to say: Rosario Dawson will be dropping in.

Dawson played a composite of the characters Claire Temple and Night Nurse on season one of Daredevil. She’s currently in the process of filming for season two for the show that focuses on Marvel’s Man Without Fear.

It was also confirmed by Rosenberg that the Claire Temple / Night Nurse character would be see across all four shows that comprise the Defenders series of shows on Netflix.

With plans to premiere the show later this year, Jessica Jones is a welcome addition at a time when fans are clamoring for more positive female leads in superhero cinema and TV shows.
