Amongst the myriad of top notch actors that have been announced for Captain America: Civil War, another name has been added to the cast.

Emily VanCamp has been signed to reprise her role as Agent 13 in the third Captain America film , as well.

It’s unknown just what her purpose will be at this time. At the end of The Winter Soldier, with S.H.I.E.L.D. disbanded, Agent 13 was on her way to joining the FBI. Will she still be a federal agent at the start of this new film or will Nick Fury have recruited her for the new version of his peacekeeping task force?

Another question that needs to be answered for the movie audience is something that comic book fans already know: Will it be revealed to Steve Rogers that Agent 13 is actually Sharon Carter, the niece of his first love from World War II Peggy Carter?

If that little nugget is divulged I’m almost certain it will blow Cap’s mind that the niece of the woman he fell in love with over seventy years before was tasked with keeping him safe during his downtime between S.H.I.E.L.D. missions.

Either way, there is almost no way this cast could get any bigger. I’m hoping that with all the additions to the movie that everyone gets their fair chance to shine and that people haven’t just been brought on to be window dressing.
