Jennifer Jason Leigh has landed the lead female role in Quentin Tarantino’s upcoming The Hateful Eight as Daisy Domergue.

Leigh will be joining past Tarantino collaborators Samuel L. Jackson, Kurt Russell, Tim Roth and Michael Madsen.

The Hateful Eight takes place In post-Civil War Wyoming, where bounty hunters try to find shelter during a blizzard but get involved in a plot of betrayal and deception.

“Leigh will play Daisy Domergue, who is wanted for murder and due to hang for her crimes. Back in April, the actress actually attended Tarantino’s live-reading of the “Hateful Eight” script at LACMA, where she sat next to both Harvey Weinstein and Bob Weinstein, as well as producer Stacey Sher. Amber Tamblyn from “Django Unchained” read the role of Daisy that night.”
