The Hollywood Reporter has confirmed that Halt and Catch Fire actress, Kerry Bishe has joined the cast of hit Netflix Cartel series, Narcos.
Kerry Bishe, who plays Donna Clark in the AMC series Halt and Catch Fire, joins Narcos as Christina, an American married to a Colombian who’s looking for help from the US Embassy to escape as her husband falls deeper into the Cali Cartels evil deeds, The Hollywood Reporter has said.
The shows co-creator, Eric Newman recently said in an interview with THR that season 3 of the show will delve deeper into the lives of those in and around the drug war, showing the full effect it has on people’s lives, much like season 2 did with friends Limon (Leynar Gomez) and Maritza (Martina Garcia).
This excites me greatly, as the closer more personal season 2 worked a lot better than the scale of season 1. Really looking at the lives of people around the war, and Pablo Escobar (Wagner Moura) himself added an incredible depth to each character involved, it appears season 3 is going the same route.
Kerry Bishe joins newly added cast members, Michael Stahl-David and Matt Whelan who will both play DEA Agents. Pedro Pascal is reported to return as DEA Agent, Javier Pena. The show will follow the ruthless Cali Cartel, who rose to become the kings of cocaine after Pablo Escobar’s death.
Season 3 of Narcos is set to be released on Netflix in 2017.
