I really enjoyed the first season of Netflix’s Daredevil. It wasn’t a perfect show but it managed to get far more right than it did wrong, providing a look at the grittier side to the Marvel Cinematic Universe. Vincent D’Onofrio really nailed Wilson Fisk in unexpected ways and Charlie Cox was a surprisingly good Matt Murdock/Daredevil. I didn’t love Elden Henson as Foggy and I wasn’t psyched about the look of  final suit, but these are minor things.

I am VERY excited for season two thanks to two new additions, Jon Bernthal as Frank Castle aka The Punisher and Elodie Yung as Elektra. These are two very significant players in Daredevil’s world. Thanks to Entertainment Weekly we have some looks at the upcoming second season featuring Daredevil and Punisher as well as Deborah Ann Woll and Cox and a blurry first look of Elodie Yung’s Elektra.
